Who We Are

We are a research group working on the transition of modern power and energy systems toward low‑carbon operation. Our research addresses the challenges that arise when renewable generation, energy storage, and power electronic converters become the dominant interface to the grid. We develop methods and prototypes that improve stability, reliability, power quality, and system‑level performance across applications ranging from microgrids to electrified transportation.

Mission

How We Work

System‑level modeling

Small‑signal, large‑signal, impedance and stability studies for comprehensive analysis.

Control & optimization

Hierarchical, distributed, and data‑informed decision making for complex systems.

Prototype development

Converter hardware, controllers, and test rigs for experimental validation.

Validation

Simulation, controller‑in‑the‑loop / hardware testing, and application‑driven benchmarks.

Collaboration

We welcome collaboration with universities, national laboratories, and industry partners on research, student exchange, joint supervision, and application‑driven development.
